Forced Air Coolers

Alloy Engineering external forced-air coolers efficiently and economically cool multi or single-stack annealing bases. Reduced base-cooling time means greater annealing-department productivity.

Alloy Engineering forced-air coolers are easy to install. Just remove the furnace, place the cooling cover over the inner covers and plug the unit in. The cooler creates a shield that allows safe and cool access to adjacent bases. Eight 10 hp propeller-style fan assemblies, each generating 30,000 cfm, stagger start with two variable-frequency drives. The fans create a circular upward flow, cooling the covers and reducing internal gas-stream temperatures. One cooler, each with a life expectancy of over 20 years, services two annealing bases.
