Ever expanding legislative and regulatory controls on transport emissions have greatly increased the significance of air pollution from stationary sources such as industrial processes and power generation applications. Alloy Engineering has long been a premier supplier of alloy fabrications for the energy production and power generation industries in a variety of applications, including pollution control equipment and components. 

We work with suppliers who use selective catalytic systems to reduce harmful emissions from industrial processes, including those in the gas turbine industry. 

AWI-Certified Manufacturing
Our welders are AWS-certified and our products are manufactured according to AWS D1.1 specifications. Our production capabilities include a full line of metal bending and forming equipment that allows us to form large, high-integrity fabrications with a minimum of seams, while holding the required dimensional accuracy. We roll a variety of cylindrical and conical shapes and can produce corrugated, rolled shapes in a single cost and timesaving operation.  

Cladding and Machining
We’re pleased to offer customers our new in-house cladding and machining capabilities. Alloy Engineering has invested in a horizontal boring mill and three vertical turning lathes. We can turn diameters up to 110’’ and mill materials that fall within a 14x20-ft. work package. 

Blasting and Painting
We made the determination decision to bring this function in-house to save customers time and money. By finishing our products, we control the process which allows quicker response time. Alloy Engineering paints to SSPC specifications for protective coating specifications that are widely used with pollution control products. We also provide industrial shrink wrapping to protect your products during final shipment and storage.

Project Management Advantage

ASME Certified Facility with S, U and R Stamps

Alloy Engineering is a certified ASME Code Section I and Section VIII, Division I fabrication shop. Our welders are Certified AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX.  Our staff includes two certified AWS-CWI inspectors, one AWS-SCWI inspector and two AWS-CWS supervisors. Several members of our Quality Assurance department are also certified in carious NDE (nondestructive examination) per ASNT SNT TC-1a. With these certifications, Alloy Engineering can develop any necessary or required weld procedures, depending on the application, to produce the highest quality welded, fabricated product.
